GACCS provides outreach to Seniors as they can be often forgotten about, but they too can use encouragement, prayer and resources to stay motivated.
Seniors are important because of their long accumulated knowledge, experience, and wisdom, if given the opportunity, they have much to teach us. They can be helpful in our applying lessons of life, e.g. self esteem, self respect, self discipline and offer a great deal of satisfaction and joy to be around them.
GACCS has formed a watch keep outreach as a channel to reach those elderly consumers that are home bound and or have responsibilities that will not allow them to consistently get the encouragement they so often need and be a support for those who lack an existing support system.
Telephone contact, resources, prayer cloths, greeting cards are just a few services we offer on a regular bases and volunteer visits to the home or nursing homes for spiritual enlightenment.
